Hebrews 2: 1-10
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard,
lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast,
and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken
by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them
witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy
Ghost, according to his own will? For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the
world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is
man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou
madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour,
and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection
under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not
put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who
was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory
and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it
became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons
unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

1 John 5:1-12
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth
him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the
children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of
God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For
whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that
believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood,
even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that
beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in
heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there
are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these
three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for
this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the
Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son
hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

John 2: 1-13
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was
there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they
wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine. Jesus saith unto
her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith
unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. And there were set there six
water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or
three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled
them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the
governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water
that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the
water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every
man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then
that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of
miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples
believed on him. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his
brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. And the Jews'
Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
